For the third consecutive year, Clube Naval de Cascais won the National Sailing Schools Cup. The event organized by the Clube de Vela de Viana do Castelo with the Portuguese Sailing Federation took place from the 1st to the 3rd of September in the Lima River.

The Clube Naval de Cascais Team, led by coaches Peter Lekszycki and Phillip Lekszycki, in the individual overall finished in the following positions: Vasco Neto was 8th, Martim Soares Lopes was 9th, José Maria Leiria Pinto was 12th and Maria Meneses e Castro was 24th
