At the Spanish Team, Bernardo Freitas, finishes in 5th place
The Olympic sailor from Clube Naval de Cascais, Bernardo Freitas, competed on the Spanish team of SailGP in the San Francisco leg. The championship took place between June 16 and 17 and featured the participation of 10 teams: Australia, Germany, Canada, Denmark, Spain, United States, France, Great Britain, New Zealand, and Switzerland.
In this first event of the season, the Spanish team finished in 5th overall, winning one race.
This fourth season of SailGP will have 12 events: Chicago, Los Angeles, Saint-Tropez, Taranto, Cadiz, Emirates, Sydney, Auckland, Bermuda, Canada, New York, and San Francisco.
