Qualifications
In accordance with current legislation, the Junior Day Skipper License entitles its holder to command Recreational Boats (ER) up to 6m with an installed power of up to 4.5 kW (6HP), up to 1 mile from low tide line and 3 miles from any harbor, during daytime navigation.
The course is authorized by the DGRM, under the terms of Decree-Law No. 93/2018.
Prerequisites
- Minimum age of 8 years old
- Know how to speak, write and understand Portuguese
- Residence Permit (only if you do not have Portuguese nationality)
- Minimum compulsory education (according date of birth)

15 Hours: 10h Theoretical Classes, 5h Practical Classes
