From the 22nd to the 23rd of june, Clube Naval de Cascais’ 86th Anniversary Trophy ocurred in simultaneous with the ORC Class Regional Championship and from the 21st to the 23rd with the SB20 Class National Championship. During these days of competition, the two dozens of boats competed in a complete program with meduim to strong Northwest winds.
In the ORC Class, the Regional Champion is Nuno Neves and Luis Charola with his Syone – Panther and consequently winner of division A. António domingues was vice champion with his Eagle I and winner of division B. Joaquim Barbosa closed the podium of the general classification with Paragon A.
The English team, Xcellent, of John Pollard, Henry Wetherell and Drew Barnes, the big winner, followed by the HelloNext team of Tiago morais, Diana Neves, Gonçalo Lopes and Guilherme Ryder, new Portuguese National Champions, closing the podium were the Australian team, Porco Rosso of Paul Mccartney, Will Sargent and Edward Reid.
