Cala Galera, Italy, hosted the J70 European Championship. From May 18th to 25th, 84 boats competed and four sailors from the Clube Naval de Cascais.

Bernardo Freitas and Gonçalo Ribeiro, aboard the Mexican boat "Black Mamba" owned by Fernando Pérez Ontiveros, classified in 15th place, having won one of the championship races. Meanwhile, the 2023 European champions, the "Solyd Sailing Team/SailCascais" from Clube Naval de Cascais, with Vasco Serpa and Afonso Domingos, with Paulo Manso and Gonçalo Lopes, finished in 43rd position.
